Hi, I'm Sydney
Consider this a virtual, but warm, hello from me - I’m Sydney, the face behind Sydney Elise Photography! I love Jesus, starry nights, golden skies, rom-coms, cups of coffee with friends, and baseball games with my hubs. I'm from Texas, but have recently been calling Oklahoma, home. I’ve been known as a serial hobbyist, odds are I’d try anything once. I’m a reader, a creative, a travel enthusiast, and an avid plant mom. I’ll always say yes to a margarita and chips, and I love love love capturing the beautiful moments of others.
I started this little biz 4 years ago because I love celebrating people and the stories that make them who they are. I’m a wedding a portrait photographer, and I’m after genuine moments, the “this is the best day ever” reactions. I strive to provide people with photos that last a lifetime.

Things I love:
Charcuterie
Call me extra, call me basic, but not much makes me happier than an array of things salty sweet, and crunchy! Charcuterie has the magical power of turning a normal day into a party, which might be my favorite thing about it. I think cheese boards and I may have that in common.
Good drinks on patios
Need I say more? Living in the south especially, this is a staple for most of the year. It's simple and it's fun!
Arts and crafts
As a kid, I was usually the one teachers called "creative', sometimes for good reasons and sometimes not. Being artsy/crafty is definitely something I've taken into my adult life as well, I still love to color, paint, design and sculpt.
Travel
This applies to travel for fun or travel for photography! I've always had an insatiable desire for exploration, and I don't see that leaving anytime soon. My favorite trips to date have been New York, Belize, and the Czech Republic!
Plants
Like so many people, I've gotten weirdly into plants over the past two years. I love indoor plants, herbs, and fruits/veggies!
Books
Reading, for me, is a chance to learn, to relax, and to rest. I'm a sucker for a modern romance novel, but I've started dipping my toes into mystery as well!
